About Me

I am Mostafa Akbari, born in 1986, Tehran. I’m a self-taught visual artist since my childhood with no academic trainings. I usually use the smallest size of art tools since details are the most important part of my work. I also don’t use models and prefer to let my imaginations do the talking in my drawings. Square is my choice of frame for most of my art work. Maybe for me, this neutral frame, the joy of discovery and precise execution is the core of my art philosophy.
